My name is Marko Ackert I was born in 1980 in Oelsnitz/Vogtl I grew up in a musical and picturesque corner of Vogtland which is inherently linked to the great traditions of creating world-class instruments. In 1996, I began to study to become a double bass builder. After 3 years of learning I worked as an apprentice until 2012. In 2013 I received a luthier master’s degree and as a master I led the workshop until 2020.
